San Diego Customers operates a local business loyalty and marketing platform at https://www.sandiegocustomers.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about business owners who use our platform and the customers who join loyalty programs.
From Businesses: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, address, phone number, and payment information.
From Customers: When a customer scans a business's QR code and joins a loyalty program, we collect the information they voluntarily provide: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), and birthday month/day (optional).
We use Business information to provide and operate the platform, send account-related communications, and provide customer support.
We use Customer information to operate loyalty programs, send automated emails on behalf of businesses (birthday offers, review requests, reactivation emails), and allow customers to unsubscribe.
Customers who join a business's loyalty program consent to receive occasional emails from that business. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately.
We do not send customer email addresses to third-party marketing services.
We do not sell customer personal information to third parties. Customer data collected through a business's QR code belongs to that business. We act as a data processor on behalf of businesses.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected, request deletion, opt out of the sale of your information (we do not sell personal information), and non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. Business account data is retained for the duration of the account and for up to 90 days after cancellation. Customer data is retained as long as the business account is active.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls.
Our platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
